The road ahead

"I am going, I have finally taken a step" (Jackson 10) and "[t]he car belonged entirely to her, a little contained world all her own; I am really going" (Jacson 10).

I am finally on the road to Hill House. I wonder what will be in store for me. I hope the doctor is nice. I am out on this "magic thread of road" (Jackson 11) that leads to my destiny.
